Big day in Uralsk

Today was an exciting day in Uralsk. Our friends, Dave and Rachel, went to court and are now the proud parents of a very cute little boy named Noah. We couldn't have been more excited and happy for them. Noah will get to join his family tomorrow in the apartment. He is in the same Baby House(2) group as Liam. We had a little photo session so we could get the two boys together before Noah leaves to go home. Unfortunately, we will not have Liam before they leave. So we were glad we could get a few shots in now.

It's official, Keith and I have been christened. Liam had body fluids flowing from both ends today. Very exciting. I guess I shouldn't hold him over my head right after he eats. I can't seem to help myself, he is just so darn cute. He showed no favoritism as Keith got it pretty good too. Liam is getting much more vocal and really rolling around. He constantly smiles and coos. It is great.

Today I think it was around 14. It is not too cold because there is no wind. It is verrrrry icy. Because it snowed all day the other day and then dropped to 4 everything has iced up. It is like one huge skating pond. They don't clear the sidwalks here. They put dirt down on top of the snow and ice. It makes for some interesting walking.

Well, we have been here one week. Only a couple more weeks and we can have the same exciting news as our neighbors. Can't wait.
