Day 2 with Liam

Another great visit with little Liam. He seems to be a really happy baby. He gets a little frustrated when he rolls on his back. He has not mastered rolling back to his stomach yet so, he just looks at us for help. He is very content being held and rocked. Hopefully, all our visits will be as good as they have been so far. He also loves standing. When holding his fingers, he can pull himself up and then proceeds to just look around. He loves to see what is going on. Olga played some music and we did a little dancing. I think he's got the beat. It just stinks that we have to leave without him. Soon......

Today it was 15. All the streets, steps and sidwalks are now a sheet of ice from all the snow yesterday. An interesting thing we saw today was a couple, who had just gone shopping, pulling their groceries on the sidewalk by sled. They also use sleighs here instead of carriages. The baby is all bundled up in the sleigh. Pretty cute actually.

Our big trip out today was to the "mall". It reminded me of a flea market, with all the vendors set up in rows. Keith was buying fruit at a stand and made the mistake of looking at different fruit literally 1 foot away from where he was standing at the same stand. We did not know, that even though it is the same stand, it is separated in sections with different women in each section. Something was said in Russian and Keith went back to where he was. Who knew. Fish is everywhere. I mean the whole fish in pots or plates on tables in the open. Every stand you pass...Fish.

Hopefully, tonight we will get some sleep. Last night we were up til 5am. One day we will be adjusted.

  1. Hi, you might want to confirm with Olga, but in May, the judge did not require dated pictures. I'm pretty sure you can take the date stamp off your photos if you want.
