Lazy Day

Today, our translator, Olga, had the day off, so Liam was brought into the playroom by one of his caregivers. It was so nice to meet someone that has been taking care of Liam for the first 6 months of his life. It was also the first time Keith got Liam when they brought him into the playroom. He went right to him, smiling away.

We had another good visit. The hour just flies. We found a new toy in the room and tried to get him to spin the wheels. He did it for a few seconds. He gets so excited. I'm not sure if he is moving the wheels on purpose or by accident. Keith then brought him around to see the different stuffed animals. He loves Winnie the Pooh. He always goes for him. Liam likes to be walked around the room so he can investigate everything . He especially likes to look out the window. Part of our visit is spent sitting with him for a while. We bring some toys for him to play with but they always seem to go straight into his mouth. Now that he has his binky, he is not sure what to put in his mouth first. He has such big decisions to make. At the end of our visit, a doctor or a caregiver(not sure) came in to bring him back to his room. It would be so helpful if we knew some Russian to communicate with them.

Keith and Dave went to the Chagala Hotel and brought pizzas home for dinner. Our first pizza in Kazakhstan and it was good. We had some pizza and watched the movie Iron man. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a good movie that we both enjoyed. Also, we spent time with little Noah. He is such a good boy and so much fun to watch.
We found out we will not be having two visits tomorrow. Instead, our one visit will be 2 hours not two 1 hour visits. Can't wait.
